Our faculty dedicate themselves to research, teaching, and real-world practice. As leading scholar-practitioners, they know that advanced clinical social workers need a similarly wide range of training to succeed. Our faculty built the DSW curriculum based on their expertise and share their knowledge with students.
The program culminates in a capstone project that allows you to apply what you’ve learned and challenge perspectives to address real-world social issues. Through the capstone experience, you will have the opportunity to explore a particular social work issue while developing your identity and area of expertise as an advanced scholar-practitioner. You will also receive ongoing guidance, feedback, and mentoring from faculty as you develop your project.
